From Our Founder
Westview Real Estate was founded in 2008 during a pivotal time in the real estate market. In the wake of the housing bubble burst and ensuing credit crisis, Westview identified an opportunity to acquire single-family homes across San Diego County at prices significantly below replacement costs. Building on that early success, we expanded into multifamily properties that followed the same value-driven investment approach. Through these investments, we developed a deep understanding of the San Diego housing market, along with specialized expertise in valuing residential real estate and identifying and executing value-creation opportunities.
While our brokerage was originally created to facilitate our own acquisitions and sales, we soon recognized a broader need for the type of expertise we had developed. Many buyers and sellers struggle with inexperienced agents who lack knowledge in key areas like market pricing, contract negotiations, and the nuances of effectively preparing a home for sale. Seeing this gap, we expanded our services beyond our own portfolio, offering a tailored, white-glove experience to clients seeking a more sophisticated, hands-on approach.
